Does anyone know a girl with dark brown hair that was seeing You Me At Six in Leicester last night that tried and succeeded in getting to the barrier by pushing a short girl with a Lower Than Atlantis top off the barrier?

If so please tell them I don’t like them.

Me and my friends got to the venue at about 1 o clock but I wandered off and got lost in Leicester, even though I’ve been there plenty of times! Before I got lost we were all at the venue and the tour bus came, and everyone screamed and ran and my friends left me, I was just looking forward to the meet and greet so I didn’t bother going to see them. One of my friends threw my other friend’s EP at You Me At Six and it hit Dan in the face! Josh picked it up after haha. A while later one of my friends had been gone for a while and I went to find her to discover she was talking to You Me At Six! It was crazy, we were shouting down stuff to them, and we asked Max to show us his tattoo on his ankle and he showed it to us. Then my friend asked Josh if he’d listened to her EP and he said that he hadn’t yet! When they left, I left to get some lunch and when I came back I went into the meet and greet queue and I had all of my individual poster from Kerrang! of their mugshots for Sinners Never Sleep. I thought I was going to puke I was so excited! When we finally went in everyone was really excited and screamed when they walked in.

Everyone was singing Loverboy and I had butterflies, I was going to meet my favourite people ever! First was Josh; he looked so perfect, wearing his beige jacket and with his hair all messy and short awh. I asked him so say hi to my friend and he did and I recorded it. I was just like ‘thanks bye!’ after and then we saw Matt. Matt is my favourite and I couldn’t say anything to him! I just fumbled about and gave him my poster to sign and I heard him say ‘Hi you alright?’ but I couldn’t say anything and replied ‘yeah’ just as I was leaving! I really wish I’d said something more to him! Then I saw Dan and he looked lovely, his hair is pretty much brown now, just with blonde tips. I asked him to say ‘happy birthday’ to my friend but my camera wouldn’t work properly! I only have a video of him clarifying what her name is and another saying ‘ok, tell me when’ but argh, it was so annoying and I think he was annoyed with me. But he still seemed lovely. Then I got to Chris and I was still shaking, and I just put all of the posters on the table and his was on the top and he signed it for me, and was smiling the whole time. He’s so cute! Then all of my posters were just in a heap on the table even though I’d organised them before I met them in the order they were sitting, but I was shaking so much I couldn’t keep track! Max was so kind and was helping me with them and signed his one, and just asked me if I was alright and I said ‘yep, thanks, bye.’ I’m so awkward!

We had to wait for the doors to open but when they did we all ran to the barrier. I was just off centre to the right and I knew it was the side that Max is always on. The Skints came on and they were really good. I only knew Murderer and the guy in the suit looked pretty funny when he was playing/singing but he was hot hahah. The bassist was right in front of me and they were all really great. I thought the drummer/lead singer looked as if he was trying to be Dan Flint; he was wearing what Dan wore in the video for Finders Keepers just about. They were great though.

Then Mayday Parade came on and everyone was really excited for them, but I didn’t know anything by them! After seeing them I really wish I had listened to them before, they were pretty amazing. Derek looked kinda hot but man, he was so skinny! His moustache was cool though.

Kids In Glass Houses were next. Aled looked cute in his rugby shirt, and he took it off later and had another shirt on underneath. They were so good and I felt glad that there were songs being played that I actually knew! They were brilliant awh. During their set some girl kept trying to push between me and the girl to my left, and I came off the barrier despite me and my friends pushing her. I had my Doc Martens on so I tried to use that to my advantage, and tried shoving her and stepping on her feet but it didn’t work! Hahah.

I was at the barrier for all of the acts except for my favourite band ever. You Me At Six came on and they still looked as perfect as always. They opened with Loverboy and played Reckless, The Dilemma, Take Off Your Colours, THE SWARM OMFG, Jaws On The Floor, Trophy Eyes, No One Does It Better, Stay With Me, The Consequence, Fireworks and finished with Underdog as they did both times I’d seen them before. When they left it was quite abrupt and everyone was shouting ‘encore!’ and they came back out. Josh said to us that they hadn’t finished and they had some more songs. He said how ‘this next song saved this band’ and they played Bite My Tongue. Josh screamed again despite having tonsilitis last week, but it was just amazing. Yesterday was the best day of my life.
